In cases where WeaveGrid isn’t able to generate a schedule for you, and starts your charging immediately, this resulting period of charging is considered outside of ‘smart times’. These cases typically occur because:
- You plugged in with a very low battery and WeaveGrid charged your battery to 20% because you have Low Battery Protection enabled
- There wasn’t enough time between when you plugged in and your desired charging finish time
- You overrode the optimized charging schedule
