For Tesla vehicles, WeaveGrid requires at least one at-home, completed charge event that increases the battery's State of Charge (SOC) by at least 15%. For EVSE-managed charging, WeaveGrid needs to observe at least one completed charge event that is 30 minutes or longer and adds at least 0.5 kWh of energy.
If you have enrolled through your home charging station, WeaveGrid needs to detect at least 1 prior charging event of at least 30 minutes to create your first Automatic Smart Charging schedule. After that, WeaveGrid will set your smart schedule within 15 minutes of plugging in each day. WeaveGrid then learns from your last 6 charging sessions to adapt your estimated mileage needs.
After that, WeaveGrid will set your charge schedule within 15 minutes of plugging in each day.
You may notice a few minutes of charging activity while your optimal schedule is being determined for the day.
