What if I don’t want to Participate in a Peak Demand Event? Can I opt-out?

If applicable,. if you need to charge during a Peak Demand Event, you can override the charge schedule generated by WeaveGrid directly on your charger or vehicle, or through their dedicated apps. You can also reply “CHARGE NOW” to 59972 to start charging immediately. 

However, we encourage drivers to participate in a Peak Demand Event as it is a valuable opportunity to help your community by reducing electricity consumption when the grid is under strain.
