How does WeaveGrid communicate with my Level 2 charger and what information from my Emporia, Wallbox or Chargepoint does WeaveGrid need access to?

As a third-party authorized partner, WeaveGrid requires a set of access permissions to deliver a seamless EV program experience to you. This official 3rd party access enables the highest level of security and user control. WeaveGrid will never interact with your vehicle or charger in any way outside of the specific requirements for the utility program you are participating in. 

WeaveGrid collects the following information from your EVSE:

• Charge Start and End Time
• Energy delivered
• Plug Status 

Here is how we utilize the information collected: Charger Information: 

• WeaveGrid accesses your charger’s plug status and charging information to provide data on EVSE charging to your Utility
• Charging Management: WeaveGrid sets and updates charging schedules (only if applicable to the program).
